Dr. Jordan Davis, DDS

Dr. Jordan D. Davis can be described as one who is insanely passionate about providing his patients with highest level of care. Called a “perfectionist” by many of his colleagues and patients, he works tirelessly to give his patients the smile of their dreams and never gives into mediocrity. After many years of practicing dentistry under the name of ‘’Davis Dental”, Dr. Davis discovered his passion – helping his patients find a path to success, fulfillment, and happiness in life, by giving them the gift of a beautiful smile. To see the astoundingly positive impact a new smile can have on his patients, Dr. Davis set out to create a center dedicated to “smile design”. A place where only the best dentistry is performed, and where only the best dentists work. A place where patient’s can feel confident that their new smile will be beautiful and long-lasting. A place where the experience is second to none and where patients feel “at home”. With this vision in mind, “Arete Smile Design Center” was born.

Dr. Davis received his undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Utah, and shortly afterwards moved to Omaha, Nebraska completing his dental education at Creighton School of Dentistry. Here, he received honors as the most outstanding operative dentist.

With a strong interest in surgery, Dr. Davis was then accepted into the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship program at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, training along side internationally-known oral surgeon Peter Larson. With this additional training, he was able to expand his scope of practice to procedures such as wisdom tooth extractions, dental implant placement, bone grafting procedures, facial trauma repair, management of dental infections and oral pathology, and intravenous sedation.

With a passion for surgery and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Davis moved back to Utah to start a private practice centered around facial and dental esthetics, advanced smile design, and dental implant rehabilitation and reconstruction.

Dr. Davis also loves teaching. He began his academic career in 2014, serving as adjunct faculty at Roseman School of Dentistry in South Jordan, UT, teaching oral surgery to dental students and dental implantology and management of complex cases to AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) residents.

In 2017, he began a career as a speaker on both a national and international level. Recently, he was invited to speak at the FACE International Congress in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to speak on the subject of integrating smile design with facial esthetics. He teaches oral surgery courses around the country along side world-renowned lecturer and speaker, Dr. Karl Koerner and joined the Koerner Center for Surgical Instruction team, in 2018.

Dr. Davis is a member of American Board of Oral Implantology, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Digital Smile Design, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Utah Dental Association.

Personal

Although Dr. Davis has great love for his job, his greatest love in life is his family. He is married to Elena Davis who is a native of Sardegna, Italy and they are happily raising their 3 children in Bountiful, Utah. Dr. Davis is also a sponsored rock climber through Mad Rock Climbing and enjoys climbing all over the world. He is also an avid musician and excels at the drums, piano, and guitar and has played in many successful bands and for successful musicians. He often jokes how being a “Rock Star” was his plan A, but then when he met his greatest love, his wife, he opted for the stability dentistry. He most enjoys traveling with his family, going on outdoor adventures, sharing delicious meals with friends, and watching his children grow.
